How well a sensor performs depends on how well it’s mounted. A sensor that shifts with vibration, or has to be realigned every time it’s replaced, costs time and causes unplanned stops. Balluff fastening technology keeps sensors and devices securely fixed and accurately positioned, so machines run reliably and maintenance is quicker.

At the heart of the range is the Balluff BMS flexible mounting system. It’s a durable, economical modular system that fixes to base plates and standard profiles, and it can be combined with holders, brackets and clamps to suit almost any installation. Universal brackets offer a flexible, easy-to-install choice for cylindrical sensors from M8 to M30 and above, and for block-style sensors. They come in robust materials such as stainless steel and anodised aluminium. 

For proximity sensors, Balluff offers mounts with positive stops. These have a fixed end stop, so a replacement sensor goes straight back into the correct position without readjustment, cutting downtime during maintenance. Where fine adjustment matters, clamps without a fixed stop give you full flexibility in a wide range of sizes, including clamping cuffs for tubular sensors.

For pneumatic automation, dedicated holders and hose clamps fit Balluff magnetic field sensors to cylinders and actuators, and combine with the BMS mounting system for precise, durable installation. The range also includes brackets for vision sensors and lights, and mounting brackets for SmartLight stack lights, indicators and displays, so all your sensing and signalling hardware can be mounted on one consistent system.
