IDEM’s Skorpion M-ISP is a trapped key control isolation switch, panel mount, with die cast metal barrel housing, SS-ISP is a trapped key control isolation switch, panel mount, with stainless-steel barrel housing, both variants are available in 25A, 40A and 63A ratings.
Control Isolation Switches are the first part of the trapped key system and is usually on the control panel. Available with 25A, 40A or 63A rating.
The isolation switch box is where the isolator key for a trapped key system is placed and trapped so power can be provided to the guarded area. When the key is turned power to the guarded area is cut and the key can be removed from the switch.
