DATALOGIC
The Gryphon™ GFS4400 2D is a fixed mount bar code reader, using advanced imaging technology, providing a complete self-contained solution for OEM use into self-service kiosks, price verifiers, ticket readers, document handling and medical lab applications, as well as vending machines and other automated equipment.
With a simple 'plug-and-play' solution the Gryphon™ GFS4400 2D is designed for easy integration for syste designers, constructed using high-impact resin in order to withstand cleaning with solvents and disinfectant solutions. To provide dependable and reliable scanning performance the sealed enclosure meets industrial standards against water and particulates.
Offering excellant performance on decoding poor or damaged codes the Gryphon™ GFS4400 2D features outstanding near-field reading, wide angle field-of-view and improved motion detection.
As with all Gryphon readers, the GFS4400 reader offers good-read visual confirmation with Datalogic’s patented ‘Green Spot’ technology.
The steady, deep red illumination light maximises user comfort, it is easier on the eyes than other competitive products with flicker illumination. In a multiple bar code environment the reader uses a center cross for the aimer to provide targeted scanning, as well as this the highly visible 4-Dot aimer defines a precise reading zone and reduces accidental reads.
For mobile marketing or ticketing applications, this imager offers excellent performance when reading bar codes from mobile devices, also providing snappy reading performance on all common 1D and 2D codes as well as postal, stacked and composite codes like PDF417
The GFS4400 OEM module eliminates the need for separate equipment with signature capture and document scanning capabilities.
The Gryphon™ GFS4400 2D supports several modes that can be used as a trigger, it has the ability to automatically sense objects abd trigger itself, a continuoous scan mode can be used to transmit data whenever a barcode passes its field of view or the reader can be triggered remotely using input from a programmable logic controller or sensor.
There are two models available, The GFS4450-9 supports RS-232 serial interface, alternatively the GFS4470 features a USB interface. The USB version supports both USB-HID for easy integration and keyboard emulation, or USB COM for virtual serial communications.

Great electrical installations don't fail because of the major components. They fail because of the small ones that didn't get enough attention.
It's easy to focus on the big-ticket items during specification — and let the terminal blocks become an afterthought. But inferior connection components have a habit of making themselves known over time. Loose connections, degraded insulation, premature failure. The kind of faults that are frustrating to trace and expensive to fix.
Tekox engineer their terminal strips, safety blocks, insulated strips, and porcelain blocks to the standards your installations deserve. Available now from Demesne Electrical — get in touch and we'll show you the range.
Conta-Clip PPVK push-in potential distribution terminals simplify control cabinet wiring with tool-free connections, compact DIN rail mounting, and reliable current distribution up to 41A.
