Midwest Optical Sytems bandpass filters are ideal for use in combination with LED or laser diode lighting. These filters consist of a precision polished glass filter with an anti-reflex coated surface. They are more rough, thinner, less angular and have a much higher transmission than conventional filters. Use of bandpass filters improves the contrast and often eliminates unwanted effects of disturbing ambient lighting.
